Were you glad you hired Cline & Migner?

Actually yes, I was.  They were my second attorneys for my case. I had a Workers' Comp scenario, an injury to my spine and knee. To me it was all new. I had been in touch with a lot of areas of law, but never Workers' Comp. That  was new to me. I actually already had hired an attorney, but I had a time sensitive question for my lawyer and I couldn’t reach him.  He was always “too busy”, wouldn’t call me back.  It had to be answered within 180 days of a certain event and I couldn’t get an answer from my own attorney.

I had a friend who was using Channing.  I called Channing and he met me right away.   I asked him my  question and he answered it for no charge.  He was kind, gentle and informative, so I decided to switch to him.

Did you get what you expected?

Workers' Comp is hard and frustrating on both ends.  Channing doesn’t lie. That’s so positive. He doesn’t make up a story. If he doesn’t know, he’ll say that.   Even though you want to hear the lies since you are feeling so down. He treats you  with respect, always calls back and follows through.

When you are completely done with your case, you get a piece of paper from the court with the case number and all the facts  and it  says  that the insurance company is supposed to take care of everything “forever”…..but they don’t.   You have to continue to fight for different things.   Even though Channing is no longer paid, he does it.  You can rely on him.  They assist with social security too. Janice will go down to court and fill out documents for me.  They are a whole deal organization.

And something else, I love Debbie. She is just lovely. Their whole organization is excellent. Sue is effective, efficient, and empathetic and tries very hard.

Sherrill might take a related case that involves a lawsuit.  She is handling the related lawsuit for me now. Sherrill is down to earth.  She always calls me back too.  Soooooo.....  responsive.

How are they different?

Just their personalities. Sherrill is more down to earth with me, (maybe it’s a woman to woman thing), we joke more. Channing a bit more matter of fact.  REALLY nice guy.

What I like about them is that they always allow me to give them my opinion. I feel like I’m part of the team.  Locations are good too. I live in Fitchburg and their two offices (Marlborough and Worcester) are easy to get to.

Would you refer other people to them?

I’ve already referred four people to them.  One was from Gardner and a friend from Fitchburg. Someone who was in a car accident, someone else who ended up suing for severance pay. They have worked out well.  I especially like to refer people who are still at work complaining about being fired and they are hurt and feel left  out in the cold.  A lot of people are just uninformed about what’s available to them.

Channing  knows the law. He knows the courts. He  is very well informed and available. Very available. You have to know the system to get what you are entitled to, to get all your bills paid.

Anything else you want to add?

The Trust Relationship to me is paramount.  You need someone good that you can trust because you are hurting and not well…. to have someone you can rely on.  When you’ve been hurt, you aren’t yourself and you are trying to unlock doors you aren’t familiar with .   When you aren’t making money and you can’t drive, you are really worried…you are so far down.    Channing & Sherrill  support you both emotionally, which is what you need so much when you are feeling so bad about yourself. Having someone like Channing & Sherrill is a wonderful thing (and they don’t charge you by the hour for it).  But, the Trust issue is really at the heart of it.

Without Channing, I am sure that I would have been overly emotional or passionate and would have blundered in one way or another.
