Were you glad you hired Cline & Migner?

Thrilled to death! She was so accommodating, so intelligent.   I had met another attorney and he said I didn’t have case at all.  I told him that I’d just have to find someone else.  So, I  picked up the telephone book.  I saw Cline & Migner’s name and I called.  Sherrill came right to my house. She took lots of notes.  I had a horrible accident. It was in November in 1999. I tripped on some steps that were too high and I broke my thighbone.  She said that she would  give it a shot.

I knew that step was too high for a rental because three people before me had tripped. When we had told the landlady before when other people had tripped, the landlady just said , “It should teach us to pick up our  feet higher!”  

Sherrill constantly and diligently worked at it. She kept right on them.  And we won! 

Attorney Cline told them what I would settle for.  They said we didn’t have a snowball’s chance in Haiti.  I told them “We will see you in Court!” 

It took a little less than  two years. In the end, we didn’t have to go to court.  We met at a lawyer’s office in Fitchburg with their witnesses, the landlady, and the owners and managers of building.  I answered every question just the way Sherrill had interviewed me. Then, we were going to have to go to Worcester.  Three days before that  she came here and met my witnesses. Sherrill interviewed all of them in person. 

Then, Sherrill talked to me about what  to offer them for the case.   I wanted all the medical bills [paid] before I got my money.  She took our offer to them. She called me and told me we didn’t have to go to Worcester after all because they settled for our offer.

It was great how Sherrill just stuck with it .  She is a really good little lawyer.

Would you recommend her to other people?

If I ever had anything happen again, she would be the one I’d call.  I’d recommend her to anyone and everyone. She’s a terrific little lawyer.  She even did my will!  In fact, I’m going to corner my son and make him get a will done with her to. He’s a procrastinator you know. I  even asked Sherrill if  she was married because she’d make a great daughter in law.  My son just gave me an 80^th birthday party.  My son is a nice guy, but he’s lived alone too long, you know?

Did you get what you expected? 

Well, I had to come down just a little at the end. But, I’m really happy with the results.
